Patrice Lawrence
Patrice Lawrence is an award-winning writer of stories for children and young people. Her books for young adults include Orangeboy , shortlisted for the Costa Children's Book Award, and winner of the Bookseller YA Prize and Waterstones Prize for Older Children's Fiction. She has also written for younger readers - Devil's Daughter is inspired by British Black history. Prior to becoming a full-time writer, Patrice worked for the voluntary sector promoting social justice, equality and inclusion.
