Pat Regan is of Irish and Swiss (or possibly German) ancestry. He was born and raised in Southport, Lancashire in England. He is a proficient yet 'controversial' author, a Pagan, an environmental campaigner, a wildlife photographer and dedicated, life-long angler. A countryman of assorted talents, Pat was previously a tree surgeon and later become a surgical chiropodist, reflexologist and sports massage therapist. He also helps to manage a busy, preschool childcare facility.
