Patricia (Pat) Stewart got into real estate several years after the youngest of her three children headed off to school and she has never looked back. She celebrated her 30th anniversary as head of Pat Stewart, REALTORS. in 2003, and she worked for another firm for five years at the outset of her career. After the first five years she gradually built her sales force to 20 +, a level at which she has held to the present. Along the way she served as President of her local real estate board and as President of the West Virginia Association of REALTORS.. She has been an ardent member and supporter of APRS and its successor relo., professional real estate referral services on a national and international level. She chaired the United Way Campaign of Monongalia County, served as President of the Morgantown Chapter of Independent Fee Appraisers, President of the Morgantown Chamber of Commerce and chaired the Special Gifts campaign for the Monongalia General Hospital. She also founded the Community Newcomers Club.
