Parke Godwin
Born in New York City, Parke Godwin was raised all over and drifted through a variety of places, schools and careers. He first attracted attention in the SF/fantasy field with "The Masters of Solitude" (1978), written with Marvin Kaye, and followed in 1982 by "Wintermind". In that same year he won the World Fantasy Award or his novella "The Fire When It Comes." "Beloved Exile" became a finalist for the World Fantasy Award in 1981.
