Noreen Riols

Noreen Riols was born in Malta where her father was serving in the Royal Navy, and educated at the French Lycee in London. From 1943-45 she served in the SOE, and after the war worked for the BBC World Service. She is an international speaker, and the author of eleven books, awarded the Joyce Grenfell prize for humour. She has raised five children, and lives with her French husband in a 17th century house in a village near Versailles.
