Nidia DC-az is one of the key leaders of the Farabundo MartC- National Liberation Front today. She participated in the UN-sponsored peace talks with the Salvadoran government. In 2003 she was the vice-presidential candidate for the FMLN, now the main opposition party in El Salvador.
