JULIA MARGO is ippr Senior Research Fellow and head of the Directors' Research Team. Julia is a regular commentator in the national press and other media. She is also editor of the political journal Public Policy Research. Julia spent four years at The Sunday Times as a commissioning editor on the News Review and prior to that she worked as a parliamentary assistant to Paddy Ashdown and Simon Hughes MP.
