Nick Hoff is a writer, translator, and bookseller. SOME ONES is his first book of poetry. Odes and Elegies , his translation of Friedrich Holderlin's poetry, was published by Wesleyan University Press in 2008. A translation of Michael Donhauser's Of Things , undertaken with Andrew Joron, is forthcoming from Burning Deck Press. Hoff lives and works in San Francisco.
