Natalie Isser

The Author: Natalie Isser is Professor of History at the Ogontz Campus of the Pennsylvania State University. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania. In addition to numerous articles in professional journals she has written a monograph The Second Empire and the Press , and is a co-author of two books: The American School and the Melting Pot and A History of Conversion and Contemporary Cults (Peter Lang, 1988).
