Mistofer Christopher, Chris Miller, was born in New York City, the city that never sleeps and the city that always eats. He works as a freelancer teaching, tutoring, lecturing, and guiding tours throughout New York City and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. He has worked approximately 20 years in the non-profit sector as well as volunteered as a teacher in communities locally and abroad in the Caribbean, South America, Middle East, & North Africa. He's been known to pick up a pen and write on paper, napkin, or brown bag before the thought disappears. "Talk About the Monster" represents his first work for children dealing with fear. His fears during childhood were Choo Choo, a subway train that lived in the basement and could slip under doors, wide faced clowns, and spiders. Other monsters include Paper and Clutter that grow, reproduce, and growl. He will also read the book: "Talk About the Monster" and is willing to talk to anyone about his/her monster.
