Min Hyoung Song is a professor of English at Boston College, where he is chair of the English Department and directs the Asian American Studies Program. He is a participating faculty member in the Environmental Studies Program and an affiliated faculty member of the African and African Diaspora Studies Program. He is the author of The Children of 1964: On Writing, and Not Writing, as an Asian American (which won several awards) and Strange Future: Pessimism and the 1992 Los Angeles Riots . He is the co-editor of The Cambridge History of Asian American Literature , and is general co-editor of the four-volume Cambridge University Press series Asian American Literature in Transition.
