He enjoys hearing the tales of people's lives, of how they've survived hard times and made good on the promises to their families that things would get better. The most compelling stories are from women and children, and the heartbreak that continues to plague their lives in the 21st Century. With this as his inspiration, Mike writes suspenseful international intrigue novels. After a long career in health care, Mike decided to hang up his stethoscope and pursue writing suspense and adventure novels. When not doing that, he spends his summers camping and flyfishing freestone rivers in western US and Canada, and his winters finding locations and developing plots for novels. See less
