A graduate of Princeton University and the University of Michigan Law School, Michelle previously worked as an arts and entertainment journalist in Trinidad and Tobago; a researcher in Puno, Peru, and Geneva, Switzerland; and a volunteer teacher in Gaborone, Botswana, and Almaty, Kazakhstan.
