Dr. Michel Glautier is a writer, consultant, and retired professor. Graduating from the Universities of Manchester and London, he went on to achieve a doctorate in management sciences (with distinction) from the University of Paris. Over his long academic career, he taught courses in accounting and international financial management at universities in England, France, the United States, and Australia. As a consultant, Glautier has provided advice at the International Trade Centre (GATT/UNCTAD) on development finance and export pricing, and he is known for his work advising companies on international insurance risks. The author has written and co-written many books and articles for both UK and US academic journals covering subjects such as accounting and international taxation. Now that he is retired, Glautier is working to complete his social philosophy trilogy-"The Social Conscience," "The Caring Society," and "The Common Good." See less
