Michael Scotto was born and grew up in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania. He is the youngest of six children. Michael Scotto was born and grew up in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania. He is the youngest of six children. Always fascinated with the allegorical work of George Orwell and the metaphorical work of C.S. Lewis, Michael wanted to combine the layered, symbolic writing style of each with his Christian theology and his commitment to encouraging others to make their beliefs their own; not just knowing the "whats" of theology, but the "whys". Michael has been an invited presenter and speaker in Evangelical churches in NC, VA, GA, FL & AL. He served as a Supply Speaker in the Cahaba Baptist Association (Alabama Baptist Convention). Michael is currently a small group leader at Daystar Church in Greensboro (NC). He is a former Religious Education Teacher and taught high school level classes before coming to a saving knowledge of Christ at age 25. His testimony of discovering the grace of God while teaching "another gospel" has been featured in various Evangelical publications. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing Management from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He married his wife, April, in 1994.
