Michael Schafer
Michael Schafer a native of Ohio, Buckeye born and bred. For more than forty years, while working in office positions in retail and the automotive industry, he served as an umpire for youth baseball organizations. He moved to Florida in 2005. He also authored more than 700 guest historical columns for his hometown newspaper, The Alliance Review, entitled "It Happened When?" He is now preparing a manuscript based on those columns.
