Nagler is president and cofounder of the Metta Center for Nonviolence and professor emeritus of classics and comparative literature and the founder of the Peace and Con ict Studies Program at the University of California, Berkeley. He is the author of The Nonviolence Handbook, Our Spiritual Crisis, and The Search for a Nonviolent Future.
