Michael Lepore, a retired orthodontist lives with his wife, Nancy, in Glastonbury, Connecticut. Upon graduation from the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, Lepore received a commission in the U.S. Navy Dental Corps and served his active duty attached to Headquarters, 2nd Marine Division at Camp Lejeune, N.C. 1968 - 1970. Upon graduation from the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, Lepore received a commission in the U.S. Navy Dental Corps and served his active duty attached to Headquarters, 2nd Marine Division at Camp Lejeune, N.C. 1968 - 1970. Dr. Lepore is the author three other poetry collections. His third book, Moral Injury, received the Gold Medal Award from the Military Writers Society of America in 2017. See less
