Michael Carasik, PhD, is the author/translator of The Commentators' Bible: The Rubin JPS Miqra'ot Gedolot. He teaches Biblical Hebrew at the University of Pennsylvania and is the weekday Torah reader at Historic Congregation Kesher Israel in Center City Philadelphia.
