Miakpo Emiaso is President of Area Customary Court with exclusive original jurisdiction for customary law causes and matters. Called to the Nigerian bar in 1989, he has practised law at all levels of court in Nigeria including the Supreme Court. He holds a Masters Degree in Law and a Diploma in Journalism. Emiaso is the author of the best-selling Co-operative Societies Law and Practice in Nigeria (2011), Landlords and Tenants under Nigerian Laws (2012) and How to Recover Properties of Dead Relations - Letters of Administration Law and Practice in Nigeria (2017).
