Merrimon Cuninggim

Merrimon Cuninggim's association with the church and higher education has spanned more than fifty years. A graduate of Vanderbilt, Duke, Oxford, and Yale, he served as Professor of Religion at Denison and Pomona, and was Dean of Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University. From 1960-1972 he was the executive officer of the Danforth Foundation, and also served as President of Salem College in Winston-Salem, North Carolina from 1976-1979. (1994)
