She is best known for her bright, colourful and fun, sewn toy patterns and has written three previous titles published under the D&C imprint: Sewn Toy Tales ; Snug as a Bug and Sew Cute to Carry . Melly draws her inspiration from her two young children, childhood memories and her love of colour.
