Meir Ben-Dov

Ben-Dov participated in the largest archaeological excavations carried out in Israel in the 1960s. In 1966 he headed the excavation of the Belvoir Crusader fortress at Kokhav Hayarden. Since 1967 he has been engaged in excavations and study of Jerusalem's past and has played a central role in these excavations.
