Hello! My name is Megan Lane and I am a 25 year old freelance illustrator born and raised in Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia. Hello! My name is Megan Lane and I am a 25 year old freelance illustrator born and raised in Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia. I live in Bedford, Nova Scotia with my wonderful husband, John, and little dwarf hamster, Teddy. Since childhood I have dreamed of becoming an illustrator and I feel so blessed to have had this opportunity. This book is just the beginning for me and I plan to develop my skills even further as I learn and grow in my craft. I spent much of my time as a child in Five Islands, Nova Scotia where my father and his family are from. It is very exciting for me to be a part of something that connects me to that part of my background and to portray the beauty of Colchester County through my art.
