Matthew Liotine, Ph.D. is a renowned expert in the field of operations and supply chain data science. His prime research interest is in the area of supply chain risk and technology. He teaches courses in operations and supply chain management, enterprise resource planning, analytics, quality control and enterprise information systems. In prior roles, he served in several professional positions at AT&T Bell Laboratories, Union Carbide and as an industry consultant. He is the recipient of several awards, including the ISACA Certificate of Excellence Award, AT&T Network Architecture and Quality Awards, the UIC Teaching Recognition Award, and is a UIC Teaching Learning Scholar. He is the former Chicago region president of INFORMS. He holds a Ph.D. in engineering and operations research from Princeton University.
