Matthew Chase-Daniel

Born in 1965 in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Matthew Chase-Daniel earned a B.A. from Sarah Lawrence College in 1987. His studies in art have taken him from his grandmother's knee (abstract expressionism) to the coasts of the Pacific Northwest (native mask carving), and Paris, France (filmmaking at the Ecole Pratique des Hautes Etudes).
