Dr. Mary Heppner is an Associate Professor of Education in the Department of Educational, School and Counseling Psychology at the University of Missouri-Columbia. Dr. Mary Heppner is an Associate Professor of Education in the Department of Educational, School and Counseling Psychology at the University of Missouri-Columbia. Her research interests include women's career development, career transitions, multicultural issues in therapy, rape prevention, teaching enhancement, and training issues. She also teaches a course in scientific writing that served as the inspiration for WRITING AND PUBLISHING YOUR THESIS, DISSERTATION, AND RESEARCH: A GUIDE FOR THE HELPING PROFESSIONS STUDENT. Mary has received numerous awards, including the John Holland Award for Research in Career Development, the Kemper Award for Outstanding Teaching, and the Early Scientist-Practitioner Award. She also received a Fulbright Fellowship to Taiwan. She is the author of over 70 articles, book chapters and books. See less
