She is the author of Red Ice, a spy thriller (published under the name of Mary Jane Hutchinson); Texian Odyssey, a biography of one of her early Texas ancestors; Foster's Fortunes, a recollection of her father; and most recently of Holy Heritage, a history of Saint Matthew's Episcopal Cathedral in Dallas, Texas.
