Having ministered in teaching and pastoral roles, she gained a Masters in Theology and Spirituality and taught at the Adelaide College of Divinity. Since then she has served as Congregational Leader for the Sisters of St Joseph, Vice-president then Executive Director of the Conference of Australian Religious, Congregational Leader for the Sisters of Perpetual Adoration and Councillor for the Josephite CentreWest Region. Since 1986 she has been a member of the Australian Lutheran/Catholic Dialogue and has held leadership positions for local and national Associations of Spiritual Directors.
