Mary A. McWhinnie is a professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at De Paul University. Her research has focused on comparative physiology, particularly the metabolic basis of low temperature adaptation in cold-blooded animals and the life cycle of Euphausia superba (krill) and she has published widely on these subjects.
