Martin Turner's adult working life started in London advertising agencies and in the 1960s he very much enjoyed working in such a creative and insecure world with some amazing and very talented people. Later, he started a design consultancy in Covent Garden with two colleagues and grew the business to more than twenty of the most creative, crazy and industrious people in London. These colleagues showed him how creativity is not limited to words or designs, or even music, but is a way of thinking, living, and using imagination; then there are no limits because imagination has no limits. Ideas and imagination have since been the main element in his second career as a carver and sculptor. And it was the need to express his thoughts that led him to write the pieces in this book. He did not write a poem until he was 49 and was not sure he could. He asks you, his reader, to make up your own mind about that. See less
