Martin Hahn PhD has received his education and degrees in Europe in organizational/industrial sociology. He grew up in South-East Asia and moved to Europe to get his tertiary education and gain experience in the fields of scientific research, radio journalism, and management consulting. After living in Europe for 12 years, he moved to South-East again and has worked for the last 24 years as a management consultant, university lecturer, corporate trainer, and international school teacher and administrator. Currently he is working as a senior educator in an international school. Having been moving around so much and being in constant contact with people with differing cultural backgrounds and different nationalities, he has realized the importance of communication in general and intercultural communication in particular. For this reason, the topic of communication has become the center of attention in his writings. Symmetric and non-violent communication is the only way to achieve consensus in this world.
