Marlene Hill Donnelly is a writer and artist, with degrees in both art and zoology. She has been a staff illustrator for the Field Museum for over twenty years. She travels widely to write and to paint wildlife subjects and is a veteran scuba diver. Marlene also illustrates children's books, textbooks, and botanical books.
