Mark Shasha grew up in New London, Connecticut. He loved to draw which eventually led him to the Rhode Island School of Design. With a degree in Illustration he moved to Boston in 1983 and began doing work for newspapers and magazines like The Boston Globe ,The Phoenix and Boston Magazine.
