Mark Shane Williams has worked with children and young people for over 30 years and the last 29 years with young juvenile offenders who have broken the law due to a variety of negative influences or situations in their lives. His desire in writing children's books is to do more than just entertain, but help parents begin communication with their children about issues that they will face as they grow up and give them tools to aid in dealing with situations that may arise. He firmly believes due to his experience as a father and what he has witnessed in his career, that children who have discussed life situations with their parents are much more prepared for life's struggles.
