Marisa Gierlich

Gierlich started her travels at a young age. She continued travelling on her own as a student at UC Berkley. She's hiked most of the western USA, trekked in the Nepal Himalayas, travelled hut-to-hut in the Swiss Alps and climbed Mont Blanc, in between fine dining and wine-tasting seminars. If she's not running, surfing or hiking, she's probably cooking, reading about mountaineering or listening to Ravi Shankar with husband Paul.
