Marie Melzer

Marie Melzer earned her Ph.D. in inorganic chemistry from Georgetown University, and her B.S. in chemistry and B.A. in biology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She carried out her postdoctoral work at the Food and Drug Administration in the Office of Food Additive Safety. She also taught at Old Dominion University from 2009-2016, where she was a faculty advisor for the American Chemical Society Student Affiliates chapter and served on the pre-health advising committee.
