Maria Ypsilanti
Maria Ypsilanti obtained her first degree from the University of Athens before moving on to post-graduate studies at King's College London and University College London. Since 2004 she has taught Ancient Greek Literature at the University of Cyprus, where she is currently an Assistant Professor. She has published widely on Hellenistic poetry and the poetry of Late Antiquity, and on Nonnus of Panopolis in particular.
