Margie West AM has lived in the Northern Territory since taking up the position of Curator of Aboriginal Art and Material Culture at the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory (MAGNT) in 1978. Since 2005 she has been an Emeritus Curator with MAGNT and works as a private curatorial consultant.
