Mahasi Sayadaw
Mahasi Sayadaw is a master from the 20th century. He was the main editor at the Sixth Buddhist Council celebrated in 1954. He founded numerous meditation centers in Burma and other countries in South East Asia. His books include Satipatthana Vipassana Meditation, Thoughts on the Dharma , and Practical Vipassana Exercises.
