Growing up, she was surrounded by opportunities to pursue the arts. She learned any-and every-artistic and craft style for which she could find a teacher, from drawing and sewing to beaded embroidery. At age 12, she found a wood burning kit with a very basic pyrography pen. Years later, that discovery became the inspiration for M. Hanlon Art.
