Lynn M Hilton is known as a pathfinder and original thinker. He was trained as a bomber pilot in the US Army Air Corps during World War II. After the war he served as a missionary in the New England States (1945 - 1947). He earned a PhD in the Department of Education from the University of Chicago in 1952. After the war he served as a missionary in the New England States (1945 - 1947). He earned a PhD in the Department of Education from the University of Chicago in 1952. He was a professor at Brigham Young University from 1953-1964. During his time at BYU he served as Associate Dean of Adult Education. He served a term in the Utah House of Representatives. He wrote the first manuscript of The Kolob Theorem in 1981 while working at a desert location, under the stars of heaven, in Saudi Arabia. After several revisions, it was first published in 2006.
