Lyndon Jones is a professor at the School of Optometry and Vision Science, and director of the Centre for Ocular Research & Education (CORE) at the University of Waterloo. Professor Jones's textbook Common Contact Lens Complications was awarded the Peter Abel Contact Lens Award from the German Contact Lens Society. In 2012, he was appointed University Research Chair at the School of Optometry and Vision Science. In 2020, he earned the distinction of University Professor, a researcher who "exemplifies exceptional scholarly achievements and international pre-eminence." He was later appointed Director of the Centre for Contact Lens Research, elected a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences and of the Royal Society of Canada. See less
