It was adapted for television and broadcast in the UK and US. Cody's ground-breaking Bucket Nut Trilogy featured professional wrestler, Eva Wylie. Other novels include Rift, Gimme More, Ballad of a Dead Nobody, Miss Terry, Lady Bag, Crocodiles and Good Intentions (the sequel to Lady Bag) and Gift or Theft (a modern take on the Gothic Novel.) Her novels have been widely translated. In 2019 she won the Radio Bremen Krimipreis.Cody's short stories have been published in many magazines and anthologies.
