Liz Lyon-Hall is a woman of God addicted to studying the Bible. Born in Jamaica, she moved to the United States at age three with her British mother and Canadian/Jamaican father, where she has lived ever since. Liz lives out obedience to God through a unique career path, including her start as a landscape architect and arborist, to a professional guardian for elderly with Alzheimer's and dementia, into foster parenting, and now as a published author. God's grace and abundance have extended into her family life also, as she is blessed with a thoughtful and tolerant husband, two compassionate teenage girls, and has recently started all over again in her middle age with two adopted baby boys. The home menagerie has included dogs, a cat, bunny, mouse, bird, and even two pet sharks. Life is always an adventure for Liz! Liz Lyon-Hall is a lifetime Christian, worshipping in the Episcopal church from childhood. Upon moving to Tampa in 1997 right out of college, she attended St. Clement's Episcopal Church for approximately 18 years, serving on the Board of Directors (Vestry) multiple times and as Senior Warden in 2014. God called her to jump start her faith in 2015 with a move to a contemporary non-denominational church. Liz has been a faithful member of Bridgeway Church in Wesley Chapel, Florida ever since. One of her dreams was accomplished in 2018 when she went to Israel with her pastor and church family. The photos in this Bible study are from this trip. See less
