Lisa Joy Pruitt

Lisa Pruitt (Ph.D. Vanderbilt, 1998) is an Associate Professor of History at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Winner of the 1997 Torbet Prize in Baptist History, awarded by the American Baptist Historical Society, her research interests include nineteenth-century women and religion in America and American medical history.
