Lisa Cohen is the Founder of Rockstar Women With MS ("RSW"), which is an international community of women living with Multiple Sclerosis who have banded together in mutual support to lead more empowered lives. Having lived with MS herself since 2001, Lisa's vision for RSW is to help women living with MS to live "rockstar" lives, which she defines as living by making active, conscious life decisions rather than auto-pilot decisions by default or resignation simply because of having MS. Rockstar Women With MS advances this vision by providing an active support community and coaching services for women living with MS. A self-proclaimed "escaped" lawyer, Lisa has more than 20 years of personal experience in life transitions and career change, more than 7 years of experience in supporting others in their dream pursuits, and more than 13 years of experience living with Multiple Sclerosis. Her successful journey to carve out her own rockstar path has led her through the amazing experiences of working in the independent music business, photography/art, and helping to build the nonprofit organization Makeover Your MS. As Managing Director of Makeover Your MS, Bike MS Champion, and Chapter Ambassador for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, she is committed to empowering and improving the quality of life of people living with MS. She has a B.A. from Columbia University, a J.D. from Columbia University School of Law, and Certificates in Digital & Graphic Design Production and Digital & Graphic Design from New York University School of Continuing and Professional Studies.
