Linda Mead

Mead, after 25 years of teaching adult crafts and owning a fabric store, and an additional 13 years in television broadcast sales and management, she decided that she was ready for something new. She completed her first teddy bear in 1984. She became an experienced bear maker. She founded Spare Bear Parts mail-order business. She currently writes the "Snip, Stitch and Stuff" column in Soft Dolls & Animals Magazine.
