Lew L Callaway

Lew. L. Callaway arrived in Montana Territory at the age of two in March 1871; from 1922 to 1935, he served as chief justice of the Montana Supreme Court. His son, Lew. L. Callaway, Jr., a former publisher of Newsweek, edited his father's memoirs, and Merrill G. Burlingame, Professor Emeritus, Montana State University, provided a foreword.
