He has photographed books for the National Geographic Society and Voyageur Press. He lives in Minneapolis with his wife and three children. Despite his best intentions to do otherwise, Greg Breining has lived in Minnesota his entire life. A freelance writer, he has written several books about the state and region. His articles and essays have appeared in "Sports Illustrated," "National Geographic Adventure," "Audubon," "Wildlife Conservation," "Minnesota Conservation Volunteer," and other magazines.
